Teacher Appreciation week is upon us! With how much our teachers do for our kids, why not show them a little love this week. Teaching is no easy task. Let’s see how you feel after being a in a room with 20 kids, some of whom don’t respect you, trying to teach and prepare them for their life long journey. Our teachers do it all year long! Let’s show them how crucial they are to our community by doing a little something for them. Here are a few ideas sure to make them feel appreciated! After all, we wouldn’t be the Sandites we are without them!
Sandite Tervis Tumbler filled with all kinds of chocolatey goodies
Sandite Pride in a jar! Fill a mason jar with all things yellow: gum, candy, nail polish, sticky notes, pens, etc. Finish it off with a Sandite mascot around the outside!
A Sandite door wreath! Grab a foam ring and some ribbon from Hobby Lobby and make your teacher a new door decor!
Make them a “desk kit” with all new desk supplies: sharpies, pencils, pens, notebook, sticky notes, scissors, dry erase marker, a ruler, and a brand new mug! Bonus points if it’s all in Sandite colors!
Spray paint an old mason jar yellow, arrange some colorful flowers and give your teacher beautiful new desk decor!
Thank You for Teaching Me How to Believe
Forever I’ll keep your memory
Stored within my heart
Forever I’ll remember
Just how you played a part
You played a part by teaching me
To think bigger and think higher
I never will forget you
As for greatness I’ll aspire
You played a part by telling me
My dreams will all come true
For teaching me how to believe
Teacher I’m thanking you
