Make 2018 the summer for checking off your Sand Springs bucket list. From spending time with your family and friends to having a place to take the kids on a hot day, Sand Springs has a little something for everyone. Haven’t made a list? Don’t know where to start? Go ahead and start your list with these four things.

1. Local Date Day

Date in Sand Springs. Sand Springs has quite a few hidden gems. Your day can start with hiking the trails at Keystone Ancient Forest or walking one of Sand Springs’ many scenic trails. Follow that with lunch at the Crow’s Nest at Pier 51 or The Harbor at CrossTimbers Marina. Then take your date shopping at one of Sand Springs’ many local boutiques. Visit for a list of great places to shop locally.

2. Out with the Kids

Bring them to Case Community Park. Go in the morning to beat the heat. Grab the kids and walk the Katy Trail, play the disc golf course, and best of all… let the kiddos play in the splash pad! For extra fun, embrace your inner competitor and play horseshoes, catch a game at the park’s ball fields, polish up your Olympic volleyball skills at one of the park’s two sand volleyball courts, and enjoy access to clean restrooms.. Maybe you enjoy basketball, horseshoes, or photography… this park has it all. You can make this a weekly Summer Bucket List tradition for 2018!
