CURRENT MAGAZINE:

Plans to install a new splash pad were announced last year.  Things took a giant leap forward back in January when the Sand Springs Rotary Club donated $60,000 to the project!  This  splash pad will be Sand Springs’ first ever splash pad and will be installed at the River City Park.  It will be appropriately named “The Sand Springs Rotary Super Splash”.
It will feature a Vortex Dumping Bucket which will make it one of only three in the state.  Below are the first graphics released of the Sand Springs Rotary Super Splash.  Construction in the River City Park is scheduled to begin later this year.
The Super Splash will be just one part in city’s effort to improve the River City Park.  Sand Springs received a total of $1.9 million back in February.  This will go towards acquiring five acres of land east of the Case Community Center, construct an underground infrastructure and build an event pavilion.  All of this is part of the Tulsa Vision 2025.
