While no levee breach has currently been detected, the city of Sand Springs is taking precautions and planning for any eventuality. This is why they released the evacuation plans for the possibility of a levee breach due to continued exposure to hydrostatic pressure. If you live in, operate a business, or visit any businesses in the affected areas, please review the evacuation plan in order to know what to do in the case of a levee breach.
We want to make sure to take the time to pray for those who have already been affected and to celebrate the city of Sand Springs for rallying together and taking care of those in need. Thank you Sand Springs, the citizens are who make us proud to call ourselves Sandites.
