Magnetic Hill: Oklahoma

Living in Oklahoma we don’t have the Sears tower or the Statue of Liberty but we do have other points of destination. In Springer, Oklahoma there is Magnetic Hill, a hill in which the laws of physics don’t apply. When you put your car into neutral on a hill you roll downhill… normally. But in Springer, Oklahoma you roll uphill. There has been lots of speculation as to what makes Magnetic Hill possible, from extremely scientific reasons to some of the extreme, but whatever actually makes it happen, you don’t want to miss out on an opportunity to defy gravity.

So the next time you are in south Oklahoma, stop by Springer, and see for yourself this act of true mind-boggling defiance. Just be careful of other cars out on the road and make it back to Sand Springs!
